This print is part of the Love Nature More exhibition. To read about the show
"The print was make using mokulito technique. Mokulito or lithography on wood, is a form of printmaking based on principles of lithography using wood as a printing matrix instead of limestone. The technique was developed by Professor Seishi Ozaku in Japan in the 1970s and has been recently gaining popularity in Europe.
Working in this technique reflects my affinity with wood as material and a broader connection with nature. Mokulito is rather unpredictable and may appear crude at times, but the results can also be very delicate and nuanced. I canstantly strive to show the latter within my work."
