Ever since I was a child I’ve had a fascination with making things unique. What started as customising cars with lowered suspension, dished rims and bigger turbos, eventually became customising motorcycles with chopped frames, loud exhausts and fat tyres. My photography archives are filled with builds that should probably never be seen outside of the garage let alone on an actual road. However, the most interesting aspect of the custom motorcycle community, and photography in general, is people. I love the story a photograph tells you about the subject. The relationship between the rider and his bike, the surfer and his board, the skater and his skateboard; it says speed, action, and most importantly, freedom.
