For the girl who claims she wants a "simple diamond ring," we'd like to present to you what she *really* wants.
The head of this Edwardian style solitaire has a beautiful design of linked ovals that goes around the entire gallery. The shank is thin and delicately engraved with the "wheat" pattern, which is typical of the time.
The center stone - a European cut circa the 19th century - predates the mounting which indicates that this lovely ring was likely created as a remount for the stone.
